Today we had 3 very brave children take part in our Spelling Bee final. They all did such a brilliant job! Well done!

We have enjoyed our STEAM week! In Reception class we made space houses, tin foil bridges, moon sand footprints, balloon rockets and many other things!

Our star bloggers this week are Emily and Anais.

Emily B- ” I liked the space houses, we made them out of sweets”

Anais- “I liked racing the balloon rockets they went fast”.

Last week we discovered that our broad bean plants (planted in November) have grown!

We have been learning about what makes plants grow and we estimated how tall they would grow.

This week we are reading a story all about a magic bean stalk…

This week in maths we are learning about money.

Here we are playing matching games with coins!

People Who Help Us is our new topic, don’t forget to bring things in for our Information Station!

We have been very busy this week planting daffodils, we can’t wait to see them in bloom!

As you may have noticed I have put a little note in book bags this evening to let you know that shortly you will be getting reading books to enjoy at home.

We have been learning our how to be healthy in Reception.

The children have found ways to be active in our outside area.
