We have been practising our drawing skills in Year One. Today we went outside to practise drawing from life. We chose a tree to draw and used pencils to draw it. Year one tried really hard to include lots of detail in their drawings.

I think we drew an oak tree. They are home to hundreds of insects, and insects are good for the birds because the birds can eat them.
Oak trees have very gnarly bark and they have lines on the bark and the leaves are very curvy.
That looks very fun in the wood land aerial .
