Opening our new outdoor area

Today was the official opening of our lovely, new outdoor area. We were very lucky as Mr Winterbottom, the director of children’s services, came along for a guided tour and to cut the ribbon. What do you like about the new outdoor area and why?

  1. I like all the different learning areas, there is so much to learn about and the children will get lots of fresh air and have even more fun learning what they need to know.

I can’t wait to take our Y1 prince and princesses out there during lesson time to carry out activities like phonics, story telling, mathematics and art etc.

I hope you all felt really proud of our school and the very important visitor we had.

I loved the ‘ribbon cutting opening’ too especially as I’ve never been to one before.
It was a super duper day!

  2. I enjoyed Mr Winterbotttom’s visit. I am looking forward to playing in the new play area.
I am especially looking forward to the mud kitchen.

  3. I like doing phonics in the outdoor area because you can make words on the wood spoons and the wooden circles . It is going to be lots of fun!!!
