Our new topic in Year 1 is ‘Homes’. This week we are reading ‘The Journey Home’, we talked about animals who had lost their homes. The children split into 4 different groups and talked about questions they would like to ask the different animals to find out how they were feeling and what they were going to do next. Year 1 thought of some super questions, well done everyone!
Hello I am Emily there was a monkey and a elephant and a panda and a polar bear.
It was super special seeing your interest in our new story especially when you devised many questions to ask each animal within the story. I particularily enjoyed the Panda and Elephant groups questions very well done Y1.
why are you leaving your home?
Finding out animals lose their homes made me sad. I think I will help animals.
