Year 3 had a wonderful visit to church to view a historical display about Wigan’s mining heritage.  They listened to an interesting talk and had the opportunity to view some artefacts.  At the end they were amazed to meet Tia Maria, a pit pony.  The children really enjoyed it and their behaviour was fantastic, both at the church and walking in the rain!  I was very proud of them.

Thank you for your support in sending in the jam jars.  The children really enjoyed decorating their jars and writing about their amazing dreams.

We have been using the force meters to measure how many Newtons of force it takes to move an object.

We have been practising our dribbling and passing in P.E. this week, trying to brush up our skills before the KS2 basketball competition.

Welcome to the Year 3 blog!  I am very happy to welcome my lovely new class to Year 3.  They have been working very hard every day and have taken to the juniors like ducks to water!  We will try to keep you posted on all the exciting activities we get up to over the year.  We would love to hear your comments so feel free to post!

Y2 enjoyed an incredible morning at Whitley Park. We used our fundraising money to buy  ice-creams  and giant bubble wands.We played many games and our behaviour was outstanding. Here are some photos to share with you.
