The whole School enjoyed a Mad Science Assembly today. We found out about discoveries and inventions from around the world with Atomic Alana.

Y2 had an amazing time during the Friday Friendly Fundraiser.

Y2 have made a place mat for a special person. First we coloured a pattern, then we had to weave the paper. Finally we laminated the mat

Year 1 and Reception have been watching their ducklings hatch and grow. Today Y2 enjoyed watching them exercise .

Today Y2 completed a comprehension called ‘Are we there, Yeti?’ It is a board game about a yeti in the Himalayas. We answered the questions and then enjoyed playing the game.

Year 2 enjoyed sharing stories on World Book Day.

Year 2 carried out an investigation to find out if the tallest people have the largest hand span. We worked in small groups to measure our height and the length of our handspan. We recorded our results and wrote our conclusions. In some case the tallest children did have  the largest hand span, but this was not always true of the smallest children.

As part of Internet Safety Day, Year Two  will be following the adventures of Smartie the Penguin as he learns how to stay safe on the internet.
