Year 3 had a wonderful visit to church to view a historical display about Wigan’s mining heritage.  They listened to an interesting talk and had the opportunity to view some artefacts.  At the end they were amazed to meet Tia Maria, a pit pony.  The children really enjoyed it and their behaviour was fantastic, both at the church and walking in the rain!  I was very proud of them.
