This is what happened to the slices of bread after 5 days. The mould is beginning to grow on the control slice and the slice touched with washed hands. But look at the slice of bread touched with unwashed hands. Disgusting!
Today we talked about the importance of washing our hands properly. We used the Wash and Glo germ detector to look at the germs on our hands before and after washing them.
Today Y2 started a Science Investigation to look at how germs spread. We had 3 slices of bread. Oliver touched the bread with unwashed hands, Emily with washed hands and Max used plastic gloves. This was the control. We will let you know the results next week.
Y2 had an Autumn walk in the Wildlife Area . Tomorrow we are writing an Autumn poem.
Y2 enjoyed dance in P.E. today.
Y2 had a wonderful day at The Lowry. We worked with an artist called Isobel. Here are some amazing pictures to show you our day.
