Y2 have finished making their Worry dolls.

After reading the story ‘ Silly Billy’, Year 2 made worry dolls.

Worry dolls originally come from Guatemala. The children

put them under their pillows at night and the dolls take their

worries away.

Y2 thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the teddy bears at the church.

Y2 carried out a science investigation to find the best material for the toy car to travel down the ramp. We found out that the best material was the wooden ramp.

Today Y2 started to make paper windmills as part of their topic work , moving toys.

Y2 have been using diennes to help with our understanding of tens and ones.
