Today we had 3 very brave children take part in our Spelling Bee final. They all did such a brilliant job! Well done!

STEAM WEEK

We have enjoyed our STEAM week! In Reception class we made space houses, tin foil bridges, moon sand footprints, balloon rockets and many other things!

Emily B- ” I liked the space houses, we made them out of sweets”

Last week we discovered that our broad bean plants (planted in November) have grown!

We have been learning about what makes plants grow and we estimated how tall they would grow.

This week we are reading a story all about a magic bean stalk…

Patterns, patterns everywhere!

In maths last week we learned about making patterns. We noticed patterns in nature, repeating patterns and even number patterns. Here we are creating our own patterns.
