Flashmob!

We have had a very exciting day in our own clothes! First we rehearsed the Christmas play, then it was time for our ‘flashmob’ dance. We even had a special guest, Humphrey the Bear, who joined in the dancing with us! It was so much fun!

  1. I heard it was lots of fun and that you were all fantastic dancers ! My friend Humphrey told me you were all very well behaved too. Well done year 1!

  2. What fantastic fun we all had when we were visited by Humphrey yesterday, it was lovely to see you all welcome him into Y1 so well with your brilliant behaviour. I couldn’t be more proud of you all.

  3. What cool dancers you all were when doing the Flashmob dance I bet you were the best in the whole school, very well done.

  4. What a super Elf we have in Y1!
Day 1 – he arrived with a new Y1 ball but how did he know we needed one after ours was popped a few weeks ago?
Day 2 – he sneakily found all the sweets we use in class to guess the quantities for our estimation station but he left quite a mess when he left a trail of sweets across our cupboards!
Day 3 – he moved again but this time he was being very good because when we all arrived he was reading a book on our information station about the weather, he was probably just checking the weather for Father Christmas!
Day 4 – he brought us yet another ball because he brought us the wrong type of ball to use safely in our playground on Monday, how does he know these things isn’t he very clever?
Wonder what he’s getting up to now to surprise us all on Day 5!

  5. Day 5 – he decided to trick us all by finding a great hiding place in our toy box in the reading area. He was holding a golden ticket for the lucky finder! Well done to Emily barker as she spotted him first but Leon found the ticket! Better luck next time Emily.

  6. I loved Poppy Gills letter to Santa today in our Big Write, particularly when she including some humour such as Ho Ho Ho at the end of the letter. Well done Poppy it made me chuckle so much.

  7. Y1 Why don’t you tell us on our class blog how and when your Elves arrived in your home and let us all know what you think they get to when your not looking?
Can’t wait to read all about your cheeky Elves!
